We currently have 6 teams registered, and we are hoping to get 16 teams. One of the comments we have heard is that the early start of 10:30 am makes for a long day. While we will do everything we can to accommodate fairly, if it turns out that we do not get our goal of 16 teams, we will move forward with what we have and will adjust start times to later in the day if needed.

There will be Superbowl raffle events going on throughout the day, such as Halftime Score, Final Score, First Touchdown, First Field Goal, etc….lots of fun and laughs will be in store for sure!

This event is purely for fun. We already have married couples competing on different teams, we have an all Ladies team registered, as well as First year curlers on teams. One Member has registered a team with his family who are all non curlers! So don’t hesitate to participate because you don’t have a super competitive team. That is not what this is about. This is about fun, fellowship and camaraderie !! The invitation is also extended to those who just want to attend dinner and stay for the football game !

This event is being held on Wednesday February 22. Tier 55 events have great curling and are a great way to network with other area curlers. Get your team together and register for this event before it’s full.

Jacques Van Bilson hosted the first Scotch Doubles Event on Friday January 13. There were two full draws at 7:00 pm and 8:30 pm. By all accounts everyone thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Prizes were given out for the best shots of the night, and Jacques provided snacks ! It’s a different game from the traditional rules of curling, but the strategy and teamwork involved makes it a fun new experience !

March 4, Four Counties Hospital Bonspiel is coming back after a 2 year hiatus. Two draws for 16 teams, the signup sheets are located by the stairs up to the lounge. Come out and support Four Counties Hospital.
